Jeremy Peace offers Christmas mp3s

Posted in: News — Daniel J. Mount @ 7:30 am

Jeremy Peace, former tenor singer for the Kingsmen and current tenor for the Old Paths Quartet, is offering digital copies of his solo Christmas CD for $5 apiece. Anyone interested can email him at jeremybpeace@hotmail.com for the files and information on how to pay via PayPal.

Peace said, “I recording this project a couple of years ago, after going through some old Christmas music, online. I felt it would be neat to record some of the old favorites, using authentic music, as they were recording years ago.” The recording includes a mix of secular and Christian Christmas songs. It showcases Peace’s amazing range—from a baritone crooner rendition of “The Christmas Song” to a high tenor rendition of “O Holy Night.” (The latter song was, to me at least, the highlight of the CD.)

Peace has one of the most impressive voices (and ranges) in Southern Gospel music. (This is somewhat off topic, but he’s a very high tenor who can sing a pretty low bass, and Christian Davis is a very low bass who can sing a pretty high tenor. It would be fascinating to see the two of them in concert together.)

This project is pretty impressive, and a very good deal.
