Christian Davis launches website

Posted in: Changes — Daniel J. Mount @ 6:58 pm

Christian Davis, former bass singer for the Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet and Mercy’s Mark, has been doing solo dates for the last few months. Initially they were occasional, but they have been picking up lately. Today, he launched a website for his solo ministry, www.christiandavisministries.com. The site includes sound clips, an online store, and ministry news.

Davis is also launching a weekly newsletter; a link to sign up is on the site.

He is booked by the Dominion Agency, which can be contacted at 910-484-6996 or www.dominionagency.com.

Guest concert review: PGMA Festival

Posted in: Other SG Bloggers — Daniel J. Mount @ 8:21 am

After trading emails with Oregon’s Ellen Gerig about last weekend’s Pacific Gospel Music Association Festival in Oregon, featuring the Weatherfords, Tim & Mary Alice Lovelace, Mike Franklin, and Liberty Quartet, I invited her to write a guest review of the concert. It’s posted over at the SGConcerts.com site here.

I have a particular interest in hearing about Southern Gospel making inroads in areas of the country off the typical beaten path, and Oregon certainly qualifies!

She also posted some extensive video clips here.
