Sony’s Thoughts: A Time For Everything
The weekend of May 10 & 11 saw Scott Inman’s wedding, Mark Trammell’s birthday, and Dottie Rambo’s Homegoing. Ecclesiastes 3 says, “To every thing there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die.” Emotions are interesting. It’s easy to quickly feel overjoyed or depressed depending on the circumstances we’re going through. I have learned, though, that in everything, God is in control. He ordains the date of each birth and the date of each death. He puts a love in our hearts for the newborn and comforts us when dealing with the loss of a loved one. For those who know the Lord, we have the assurance that we will see our loved ones again. No matter what we are going through, God is so good and worthy of our praise.
