Sisters?
Coomer Cove notes an interesting discovery occuring during his search for LordSong concert dates. He came across a website for a group called Sisters, which appears to be LordSong without Michael Lord. They currently have more concert dates listed than LordSong. (LordSong only has two multi-day private events listed currently.)
They have released an album, and the sound clips seem to indicate that it’s a mixture of progressive tracks and more traditional Ruppes numbers.

Verrrrry interesting! LordSong is still listed A LOT with the Mark Lowry Tour, and Lordsong has some individual bookings (non-Mark Lowry events). It looks like the girls are just getting started with only a couple of events posted. I checked out their website and see that one of my all-time favorite songs, Your Grace Still Amazes Me, is on their first CD. I’m gonna have to buy one of those! I love 3-part ladies harmony. And the Ruppe sisters are the very best.

However, Lordsong only has a couple of bookings listed currently on their website–two multi-day events is it: http://www.lordsong.com/dates.shtml

Yes, but LordSong is listed on most of Mark Lowry’s tour dates. That’s pretty unusual. I know most of the groups that travel with the Gaither Homecoming list those dates on their group’s website, too. I wonder why LordSong doesn’t.

The Sisters new CD is awesome and I strongly urge anyone who has followed The Ruppes career to purchase one today! This group sang at two of my Ladies Tea events and they were a big hit! In this world today we need all the Biblical music and teachings we can get! Don’t turn on the radio, turn on your gospel music! Blessings and Shalom! Melissa
