Kingdom Heirs’ What We Needed hits #1

“What We Needed,” the Dianne Wilkinson-penned highlight to the Kingdom Heirs’ 2007 album True to the Call, sits atop the July 2008 Singing News Top 80 chart (subscribers-only link). This is the Kingdom Heirs’ fourth #1 hit; their previous three were:

• “That’s Why I Love to Call His Name” (#1 in September 2001)
• “I Know I’m Going There” from Forever Changed (#1 in February 2005)
• “Forever Changed” from Forever Changed (#1 in August 2005)

The Kingdom Heirs’ song selection is among the strongest in Southern Gospel, and fans and radio programmers alike are taking notice.
