Last Chance to vote in Fan Awards

This post is for the procrastinators. The voting in the second round of the 2008 Singing News Fan Awards closes in two days, on May 9. If you are a Singing News subscriber and have not yet voted, click here to view and cast your ballot. If you are not a Singing News subscriber, click here to subscribe. Out of curiosity, I went back to see which of the top 10 Albums of the Year I’d reviewed. It looks like I reviewed five. (I was thinking I had done a sixth, the Kingdom Heirs’ True to the Call, but it seems I didn’t review it.)

• Know So Salvation by Legacy Five
• Look No Further by the Perrys
• Once Upon A Cross by the Mark Trammell Trio
• You Gotta Love It by Triumphant Quartet

   My Top 5 Picks:

   Once Upon A Cross – Mark Trammell Trio
   Look No Further – The Perrys
   You Gotta Love It – Triumphant Quartet
   Know So Salvation – Legacy Five
   Everyday People – Greater Vision

   This may experience some shake-up, because Greater Vision’s might go all the way based solely on the fact of Waldroup’s ever-nearing departure (I didn’t particularly care for the album, myself; I only liked one or two songs on it.)
   Legacy Five’s album might not make it simply because it wasn’t a “major” project. I thought it was a great project, nonetheless.
