I have not heard the whole cd, but did get to hear a few songs live last night. I was very impressed and enjoyed it immensely. When God Ran is awesome!!! I love it! I like The Word, as well. A wonderul message and nice sound. I could listen to Bryan Hutson's voice for hours.

Quaid, IMO, there's a little of both country sounds. "The Cloud He's Coming Back On" sounds like a song off of Gold City's Revival project. "Gospel Road" has a bluegrass feel with the banjo. "More Than Pray" has too much of a traditional country sound.

Yes, somebody needs to bring back to the national scene "I Beleive He's Comming Back". Great song!
As far as the "country-fied" sound for the Kingsmenon this project, are you guys referring to the "modern country" sound, (eg: Gold City, Crossway)or a more traditional-country sound ? (Like what the Kingsmen have recorded in the past. eg: "Talk To The Man", "Bought By The Blood", "Called Out", and "Wave of Glory")

Christian, I wasn't pointing a finger at Triumphant, although reading my comments again, it could be read that way. That wasn't my intent. I know Triumphant released their version of "Holy Hills of Heaven" months before the Perrys' version came out. The two versions of "The Cloud He's Coming Back On" are within a couple weeks of each other. However, Triumphant did release their versions first in both instances. Still think that it's strange. (BTW, if two or three groups want to cover "I've Already Won The War" or "I Believe He's Coming Back", feel free!)
