The Florida Boys had some great tenors over the years and JT was one of the very best. About 20 years ago - I went to see the Judds and Lee Greenwood one night and Laddie Cain was the back-up singer for Greenwood. I had not heard of him for years - and have never seen or heard of him again.

Some may disagree, but I think Jerry Trammell was the best tenor the Florida Boys ever had.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Daniel. This is why your blog provides such a valuable service for fans of gospel music.

Jerry was always a true "quartet man". While he never got the acclaim of his brother, it's apparent that Jerry has a valuable testimony and witness for anyone willing to listen and observe.
