Thank you for sharing this with us, Daniel. This is why your blog provides such a valuable service for fans of gospel music.

Jerry was always a true “quartet man”. While he never got the acclaim of his brother, it’s apparent that Jerry has a valuable testimony and witness for anyone willing to listen and observe.

Some may disagree, but I think Jerry Trammell was the best tenor the Florida Boys ever had.

The Florida Boys had some great tenors over the years and JT was one of the very best. About 20 years ago - I went to see the Judds and Lee Greenwood one night and Laddie Cain was the back-up singer for Greenwood. I had not heard of him for years - and have never seen or heard of him again.
