New Gold City lineup receives positive reviews
Ever since Jonathan Wilburn left Gold City, numerous Gold City fans have been waiting for reports from the frontlines to see how his replacement, Bruce Taliferro, is doing. Though there have been brief comments here and there, we have our first detailed report, and it’s positive. The reviewer, DeeAnn Bailey, has been a committed Southern Gospel fan for decades, long enough to know what she’s talking about, so the review is definitely worth reading.

Daniel, thanks for linking this. I believe in the best case scenerio it takes a good 6 months for any change to ‘jell’. Based on last weekend’s concert, when this combo totally ‘jells’ it is going to be tremendous!!!

Who is the emcee on stage now for Gold City? I think Jonathan was a huge part in being the emcee. So did Daniel take the emcee role or is he spliting it with Steve? Steve is capable since he was the emcee for the Anchorman. Just curious how that is playing out.

Daniel did much of the emcee work on Saturday with Steve doing some of the talking. That’s the only concert I’ve seen them at so I’m not sure if that will stay the same or will continue to evolve as they go. I don’t know but I have a feeling that Bruce could handle a portion of the emcee work as well so it will be interesting to see how it plays out for the long haul.

I am a HUGE Gold City Fan! My husband and I along with my mother went to hear Gold City this past Saturday, March 22nd. at Mt. Zion in Clarksville, TN. I missed Jonathan but the concert, music and message was GREAT! I believe Bruce will do fine and God will use him and Gold City to spread His message.
