When was the last time…
For the most part, I’ve been successfully resisting the temptation to steer this blog clear of any political discussion. But…I just couldn’t resist this one. After all, when was the last time you saw a Presidential candidate performing a Southern Gospel song?
This was from last Sunday’s service at Thomas Road Baptist Church, host to the (former) Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet.
All I can say is…if this Presidential gig doesn’t pan out, I heard the Kingsmen are looking!

Which one of the Kingsmen would be the candidate?
I think the Browns or Scott Fowler & Legacy 5 have a track history with this Presidential candidate on campaign trail.
It all be history by March 4.
We even might have a “Best Seller” book come out later in the year.

Actually, what I meant was that the Kingsmen are currently looking for a bass guitar player.

Up here in the Northeast, we do not have too many guitar players.
The difference between a guitar player and bass guitar player is beyond me.
We do have a lot more piano players.

When he was out here they said he did “classic rock covers.”

You know, you can’t help but like Huckabee, but when you look at his record…well, anyway. I do like the fact that he plays a pretty mean bass — he did this earlier on the Jay Leno show.
That said, I’ve said enough…:-)

I could not hear the bass on my computer speakers but by watching him play……he did not seem to be playing the 6 chord! Maybe he did not know the song.
