Murfreesboro newspaper features Gerald Wolfe

Posted in: News — Daniel J. Mount @ 10:12 am

The Murfreesboro and Rutherford County Daily News Journal posted an interview they conducted with Gerald Wolfe. Greater Vision will be appearing in concert at Murfreesboro’s Bellwood Baptist Church tomorrow, but the interview ranges over a wide variety of questions, covering everything from Gerald Wolfe’s past career to what he perceives as Greater Vision’s signature songs. It’s an interesting Saturday morning read on an otherwise slow news day (so far).

Very good article. I see that Gerald is actually calling himself the lead now, which is different than he said at NQC a year and a half ago! He and Rodney switch off from baritone to lead so often, it’s hard to tell who to call which part!

I think he’s technically (i.e., “officially”) been the lead all along. I think what he actually said was that he’s often singing the baritone part…much like Glen Payne, the “lead” singer for the Cathedrals.

It seems a little silly–playing with semantics, I guess–but I think what he said is that he frequently “sings” baritone, not that he “is” the baritone.
