This evening, I attended a concert by a regional quartet, the Colonial City Quartet. This group had a better group blend than many full-time groups and did both original material and classics. Look for a full concert review on Monday.
The Colonial City Qt has been around for a while (in fact my uncle used to sing with them). Mike Deane (bass) used to contribute to some of the boards. I have been inteh studio as they were finishing a project & your take on them is absolutely correct.
I love the tenor (David Campbell) for Colonial City Quartet. He has the most amazing voice i have ever heard. Not only does he have the best voice, but he has the greatest personality. You cant help but love talking to him!
