An Eric Quartet
I was thinking the other day that we have enough singers named Eric in Southern Gospel to form quite a quartet. The only part I struggled with was the lead part, but I eventually found someone who should be able to carry the part.
Tenor: Eric Phillips
Lead: Eric Hinson
Baritone: Eric Dove
Bass: Eric Bennett
Piano: Eric Ollis

Eric Phillips and Eric Bennett singing together? Count me in! That would be hilarious if 3 or more guys from the same group had the same name.

How about an all Scott lineup.
Scott Rogers - Tenor
Scott Fowler - lead
Scott Inman - Baritone
Scott Howard - Bass ( I know he does not sing bass, but when Legacy 5 flips on “winging my way back home” he gets pretty low! I couldn’t think of any real bass singers of the top of my head anyway)

You could add Brian Free & Assurance’s Scott McDowell on piano.
Scott Whitener could fill in on lead/baritone as needed.

Yes, Daniel…Koker is an excellent choice! Plus he gives them an additional fine vocalist and MC as well!
I thought of him, and I don’t know why I didn’t post him initially!

Wow! This post has inspired more commenter creativity than just about anything else I’ve done! Good selections, everyone!

Quaid, don’t forget about legendary tenor Bill Shaw (from the Blackwood Bros - 1951 to 1973)

I loved the Eric lineup! Great job! And I immediately thought of all the Eds in the business, but I see Quaid has beaten me to it.

How about a “Cecil” Quartet? (Even though one of the guys) I can come up with all parts except for tenor:
Tenor?
Lead - Cecil Mark Blackwood
Baritone - Cecil Stamps Blackwood
Bass - Cecil Stringer
Can anyone think of a tenor named Cecil?

I think I found a tenor for the “Ed” group:
Wasn’t Eddie Wallace a tenor singer for the Sunshine Boys?
