The Post I did Not Make
Last night, I drafted a post to make this morning. I got about 2/3 of the way through and realized that no matter how I spun the topic I had in mind, it was inherently pretty critical. Now I realize there is a place for constructive criticism, and I do it myself occasionally–very occasionally. But that post wasn’t going to be constructive.
I decided to post this instead, more as a reminder to myself than to anyone else that I need to hold to a high standard of constructive contributions to our genre, otherwise I’ll help give Southern Gospel bloggers a bad name.

I appreciate the thought. It is very true.
Keep up the good work.

You didn’t just wimp out…you’re proud of it?
Sorry…couldn’t resist! :o)

DBM, what really happened is that I decided to cancel my post for the day, and I needed something to say in its place!

True, blogs and bloggers already have a bad enough reputation. It’s good to see restraint of the negative and an emphasis of constructive, positive posts on blogs. That’s why I keep reading this one.
