A Chicken Little Day?
I feel like running around and shouting, “The Sky is falling! The Sky is falling!”
All right, maybe that’s an exaggeration. But to have both the Florida Boys and Three Bridges disband on the same day, plus more information coming out on JBIF’s disbanding (can’t find the link, but discussion on the Singing News board over whether it was too few dates or whether it was Stephanie wanting to go to college), plus yesterday’s story that Signature Sound is not getting another pianist…sometimes when things like this get going, everything starts happening.

This is one of those things that should have been kept quiet until all parties are able to resolve the situation. Speculation and rumor could be detrimental to the future success of any group that continues.

The Florida Boys one is pretty official.
And I didn’t break any of the other stories (or the FB one, for that matter).

I checked the ‘net for both Three Bridges’ and the Flordia Boys’ web-pages, but did not find any results.
They must have shut the sites down, unless I made and error.

You shouldn’t have used the word “disband,” because people assume a group is about to cease to exist when you use that word. It’s appropriate for the Florida Boys, clearly, but not for Three Bridges.
The current group members of Three Bridges are parting ways, but the plan as of yesterday was for the Three Bridges name to be carried on by Elliot McCoy with two new vocalists.
Mitch’s plan is to go solo, opening up the door for a potential genre crossing career. No new recording contracts had been signed as of yesterday, however. That’s the situation as it stands right now.
