A few late thoughts on this night as I'm watching the video archive again tonight:

1. What a Savior - I agree, it was an impressive transition into the song. And I liked how E sang both of his verses before the chorus rather than them surrounding the chorus.

2. I Believe - A few have commented on Wes' solo part, but I thought Michael's was the best I've heard him do on this song since he came back to the group.

I'm excited about the new cd!

Phil - I get what you're saying about them doing covers and oldies. Their live program is a great mix of that plus original stuff. I love seeing them in concert.

And yes, Corey is one of the best musicians out there, for sure.

The Dips are a great group, I think their main problem is that they do mostly "cover" music and oldies. Corey is one of the most talented musicians out there and they are very good vocally also. I just wish they would have used their one shot on stage to sing "Down to the River" they would have people on their feet!

I'm so confused as to why people are shocked to see that the Diplomats made it on to the main stage. They've been in the industry for a LONG time and they sound great. I don't see what the problem is.

EHSS sang on the Grand Ole Opry and not at Opryland. That was actually a pretty big deal. Also, for those not familiar, Opryland is no more. Quite a few years ago, Opryland was closed and the Opry Mills shopping mall was built on Opryland's grounds.
