Very good!! It was about April, 2005 was when we ran into the BB's and met Randy. We then invited Jimmy and the Quartet to our little town of 200 to play in our elementary gym in September of 2005 and the rest is history. We are stuck with their Friendship and Blessings in the last 4 years. DeAnn was raised on the Blackwood Bros. and now we get to raise our son on the same heritage that was part of DeAnn's childhood.

Thank you!

I'd have to agree—he's one of the nicest people in the world. In fact, when I was brand new to Southern Gospel and came across him on the old SoGospelLovers message board, his openness and friendliness to build a relationship with me played no small role in convincing me that SG singers could be approachable enough to actually build a friendship with.

One of the nicest people in the world is Randy Byrd. He makes me feel so welcomed everytime we sing together. (Can't say that about all Bass Singers) What a wonderful Man. Great interview Daniel.

I think I agree, but it doesn't matter too much one way or the other for me, because I always read the whole thing and any comments anyway.

Thanks for the feedback!

I guess it's 1-0 for the old way so far ... but one vote's hard to base a conclusion on! :)

I really enjoyed the interview, Daniel.

Since you asked, I think it's a little long to put on the main page. It makes it pretty hard to find the previous post.
