Singing News Fan Awards Top 5: Guess the Winner

Singing News released the top 5 nominees in the Singing News Fan Awards several days ago. David Bruce Murray saved me the trouble of analyzing the nominations by releasing such a thorough analysis that I can just point you his way.

So let’s do something entirely different and post our guesses as to the final winners in each category. Mine are below. (Just to be perfectly clear, this isn’t the same as the list of who I voted for in each category!)

   Eva Mae LeFevre passed away at 7:25 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2009, at nearly 92. She had been hospitalized in April for pneumonia at which time doctors also discovered a fractured hip

   This has nothing to do with this topic, but I didn’t know where
   to post it. Eva Mae LeFevre passed away on Monday! She was
   a grand lady, and always laughed and made everyone laugh. I
   am sorry she is gone..her gain, our loss!
