Hampton on upcoming GVB CDs
In a blog post yesterday (hat tip, JT), Wes Hampton passed along the following update on the upcoming Gaither Vocal Band projects:
I’m “off” for another week and a half, except for going to David’s house sometime next week to knock out the remainder of my vocals on the GVB best ballads album. We are also working on a new GVB album that will be all new material…we already have several great songs that we are so excited about. It will be fun to get in there and really create.
Blame it on whatever you like! Fact is, my reason is simple enough: I have no interest in any secular music.

I am definitely looking forward to these!!!!!! It would be cool if they get the Best Ballads album out by NQC, but I am not holding my breath!!!!

Thanks for the update. I think all the GVB fans are looking forward to the new CDs you guys will be recording. I myself just can’t wait. Make it quick. Thanks, Wes
