Thank you, Amy! That is still one of my personal favorite cuts. Kirk did a great job on it.

I just found out tonite that I have a cut on Karen Peck and New River's new recording. It's a cowrite with Marcia Henry. I am very excited and blessed!

The blog was a worthwhile read...

But I also wanted to say (regarding commenter #1) that "Mercy Forgot" is one of my very favorite Kirk Talley songs.

Sue C. Smith is one of the most gifted and talented women I know--such a beautiful person inside and out. I've had the privilege to write two songs with her and I hope that number increases in the future. Every word of that post is exactly from her heart and is truly the way she feels.

When I went to Nashville for my first "official" writing session, in the span of a day I wrote with Joel Lindsey, Wayne Haun, and Sue C. Smith. If I had really fullly grasped the significance of that moment, of writing with such gifted, awarded, and respected writers, I would probably have passed out! LOL! But all of them were so gracious and took time to work with me, and I will never forget that. It was and always will be a very special highlight in my writing career.

Congratulations to one of gospel music's finest!! Way to go, Sue!!!
