Dixie Echoes launch a new website

Posted in: News — Daniel J. Mount @ 6:39 am

The Dixie Echoes launched a new website design yesterday at www.dixiechoes.com.

Among the notable features of the site:

  • It’s their first Flash site (as opposed to the straight HTML of their previous sites).
  • It’s their first site in a number of years not designed by their pianist, Stewart Varnado.
  • With this site, they’re also launching a YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=dixieechoes, with videos of the groups.

For one week only, they have a special in their online store. You can purchase any CD in their store for $10, with free shipping. If you haven’t heard any of their recent recordings, don’t miss the chance to get Pensacola Live, for Pat Barker’s live rendition of “How Big is God” if for no other reason. The studio version is on their most recent studio CD, So Many Reasons. And fans of Dallas Rogers will enjoy the recording he did with the group, Sounds of Sunday.
