Posted in: News Roundup — Daniel J. Mount @ 8:19 am

In the News:

  • In this week’s Greater Vision e-letter, they announced that they will be recording a live video at First Baptist Church in Orlando, Florida on February 8. Admission is free. This will be their first video with Jacob Kitson.
  • This week, Phil Cross distributed a press release announcing the availability of the Song of a Lifetime DVD recorded at last year’s National Quartet Convention. The press release said that the project cast “cast was a literal Who’s Who of Gospel Music.  It featured legacy songwriters such as Mosie Lister, Ronnie Hinson, and Kyla Rowland along side today’s songwriters like Rodney Griffin, Paula Stefanovich, and Rebecca Peck.  The participating artists included The Hoppers, Greater Vision, The Booth Brothers, and eighteen others.  A complete list of artists and songwriters is available at ? along with video clips previewing the entire DVD.  This 129 minute DVD was released during the 2008 Christmas season and is now available at ? or by calling 804-339-5074.” (I assume but do not know that the site intended was http://philcrossmusic.com/.)

Interesting post of the week: Brandon Coomer’s Proof that Tenors are Freaks.
