Liberty Quartet to add new Baritone
To free up current baritone / pianist Doran Ritchey to focus on playing the piano, Liberty Quartet will be bringing a new baritone on the bus. Jordan Cragun will be joining the group full-time in January 2009.
Cragun has a family background in Southern Gospel; his father, Ray Cragum, sang bass for a group called the Celebration Quartet, and he is also a nephew of Kim Collingsworth.
He made a debut appearance with the group at the Pacific Gospel Music Association last Friday; he was featured on “He’s Been There Too.” Six other videos of their performance that night are on this playlist.
Tenor Keith Waggoner has more details on his blog here.
