Ishee leaving Palmetto State Quartet: It’s Official

Posted in: Changes — Daniel J. Mount @ 7:12 am

It’s now official that Andrew Ishee will be leaving the Palmetto State Quartet. We had official word a few days ago that Bryan Elliott of the Anchormen was leaving the Anchormen for Palmetto State, but now we have confirmation from Kerry Beatty, Palmetto State’s group manager.

The ever-resourceful Chuck at the Southern Gospel reporter tracked Beatty down for a statement; Beatty said:

Beatty says: “It is unfortunate that PSQ is losing such a talent as Andrew. He and his wife Sheri are expecting a baby girl in April, and he wants to be home when the baby comes. … He says he has no intent on going with another group or playing solo anytime in the near future.”
