Hi Daniel: Great review….the Dixie Echoes just get better and better. In reference to your comments about “Up to the House of Prayer” not being staged since the Nelons recorded it….I don’t know if it was sung on stage or not, but Poet Voices did record this song on a table project released in 2002 (I think it was entitled “Hymns & Hits, Volume 2″ or something of that nature). I knew I’d heard the song somewhere and finally remembered Tim Duncan doing that bass line “Come on, Brother, come on….” Keep up the good work!
