NQC 2008: Anatomy of a Practical Joke
Thursday afternoon, I was walking through the vendors’ hall shortly before it opened to the public. I saw a familiar face at the Legacy Five booth:
Then I saw another familiar face walking in the booth’s direction, and I knew something was up. I whipped out my camera and caught the culprit in the act:

Unfortunately, the one thing I missed was the look on Scott Fowler’s face when I showed him the middle picture.

Well I guess I’ll just be perfectly honest and confess I’m not sure about who’s in the pictures … Is the guy facing me Scott Howard? (I think so.)

The little information box that comes up when I rest my mouse cursor on the picture says “Michael Booth”.

If you place your cursor anywhere on the other pictures (including on the Legacy Fives guys face) it says “Obama.” Now that would be really interesting to see Scott Fowler place the cursor on his own face and see “Obama” pop up.

Well I still don’t get it … is the other one a real person? A cardboard cutout? I guess I can’t see it well enough.

In all 3 pictures “Obama” looks to be in the exact same positsion. So I guess it’s a cardboard cutout.
Please don’t tell Levi too often that he’s a genius. He’ll likley stop “greeting” people and just chant ” genius” everytime he’s in public.

I began reminding myself there of “it isn’t funny if you have to explain it” … I certainly did see the humor, but when it comes to SG I have to know who everybody is! (But if it’s just a presidential candidate, who cares …)
