Jacob Kitson seems a bit less nervous here (not that this was bad, but standing right next to the legend you are about to replace has to be a little intimidating, no matter who you are.)

Lauren Talley blossom as a singer with family members and got saved in the back of a bus.
Jonathan Falwell really blossomed as a excellent expository preacher following the passing of his dad.
Don’t worry about Jacob Kitson.
Jacob is in good hands
No better mentors to have than Gerald and Rodney with God leading the way.

Greater Vision will be at our church, Englewood Baptist, in Rocky Mount, NC this Saturday evening. Tickets available at the door for $10.

He is a good tenor, did you know he tried out for Legacy Five a few years ago when Frank Seamens left the group for a few weeks. I thought that was an interesting factoid about Mr. Kitson.:)

I was at the Brumley Sing in Lebanon, MO on August 6th and heard Jacob’s debut performance with Greater Vision. He did a great job, especially for his first night out and, I would assume, having a decent case of the jitters, although it didn’t show on stage. I think I’m not alone in saying that their entire set just felt so right with Jacob on stage. Regardless of whether or not he nailed every note (and it sounded like he nailed them all to me), he’s a perfect fit for this group, both vocally and personally/spiritually. For what it’s worht, he got the only unanimous “nearly every seat was emptied” standing ovation that evening when he sang “Little Is Much,” and Gerald never missed a beat in introducing him with a funny story.
What I especially noticed is that the entire audience seemed to be cheering Jacob on. Southern Gospel fans are often noted for their inability to embrace the new guy until he’s proven, but that was not the case at all. The crowd was 100 percent behind Jacob, and I think that the classy way Greater Vision went about Jason’s send-off and Jacob’s arrival had a lot to do with that.
If the first night was any indication of what Greater Vision fans have to look forward to, then pardon me while I fasten my seatbelt.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Greater Vision on Friday night! (8/15) We were at the farewell celebration and now I’m ready to hear a whole concert with Jacob.
