I found my song! Jimmy Blackwood e-mailed me the title. It’s “Down From His Glory” and it’s all over Youtube.com, even an 85-year-old Bill Shaw singing it solo. James Blackwood and the Blackwood Brothers recorded it in 1979 on their album, “Live from Music City USA.” Thanks to everyone!

Not what I’m looking for, Meagan, but thanks for responding. With the Christian lyrics, it seems the “chorus” began (strongly), “Oh, He’s my Savior, I love Him so, etc.” Can’t remember any more than that. Help?
